I mentioned on my last post that I started our newest product Block. This week I had to do some tweaking on my Plexus routine because I noticed an issue I was having while on Block, constipation. I definitely do not do take my own advice in terms of gut health. I have never really had issues in this department myself, but between a medication my doctor put me on and the Block, I was going to need some reinforcements. I have mentioned our BioCleanse product before and how it helps my four year old and I have taken it before while I was running trials on myself and Plexus products but was not a huge fan of it. Well now I am. This week while on Block (two capsules 30 minutes before my two largest meals) and BioCleanse I am down 4 pounds! That brings my Plexus weight loss total to 24 pounds (my annual weight loss to 44 pounds!) That is pretty awesome!
So why bring up something as personal as bathroom issues in a public blog, because Plexus products aren't perfect and I wanted you to see that even ambassadors have to tweak around to find the right blend of products to make the most out of our weight loss and health journey. I had been on Block since October 21st and hadn't seen a single pound or inch gone (though when you throw in a weeks long vacation and Halloween, I can say not gaining a pound was still a success!). I was starting to feel discouraged about our newest product. But I stuck with it and then in my fourth week (when I restarted the BioCleanse) I dropped four pounds! Just shows you that you need to continue to take care of your gut. That your body will hold on to waste. That even drinking 80+ ounces of water a day, working out,and eating high fiber foods may not always keep your guy in check.
I think my upline, Mandy, would be proud that I posted a poop blog. She posts about poop a lot and how it's the key to good health and loosing weight!

My Vacation
As most of you know from facebook, my family and I went on a weeks vacation to Orlando. First off I have to thank Wounded Warrior Family Resource for the trip. It was all paid by them because Josh is a disable veteran and they feel that those with certain disabilities deserve vacations to break away from the stress of constant doctor appointments and what we feel is normal life. Josh's 70% rating for TBI (traumatic brain injury) is what qualified us. Second, I gotta thank my sister in law and her boyfriend for painting while we were away. I love to paint so handing the job over was not easy, but the headache of trying to paint a home with small children would have been the death of me.
Now on to the important part between Plexus and my vacation. I didn't gain a single pound! I ate pretty much all the junk I was hungry for (key words there guys cause I can no longer eat just to eat anymore) and gained nothing. Normally I would easily gain at least five pounds eating the junk I ate. Lets just say Krusty Burgers served at Universal Studios are not exactly healthy for you. Neither are large hot pretzels, hotdogs, french fries, or alcoholic drinks (which I have actually been avoiding because I do prefer to eat calories and not drink them). I threw in a few salads, I promise, because I do love my veggies and need somewhat of a balance. A week is a long time to eat nothing but complete junk and restaurant food. So ya for Plexus. Now to hit back into the gym. I have a goal to hit before my other brother in law and sister in law come to town for Christmas. I think I can loose another 10 pounds before then. We are doing a nice family portrait when they come and I want to look my best. You may think this is hard with Thanksgiving around the corner. I have to say, I have been using Block and I swear it's the reason why I didn't gain anything while on vacation. I hope to see this same result over the Thanksgiving holiday while I am in North Carolina.
Events: Tomorrow I plan to submit my paperwork for Christmas on Walnut St. in Green Cove Springs. This event is Dec. 6th from 10a-8p. I hope to see you guys there. I will be promoting Plexus along with helping my daughter sell a jewelry line she is selling.

Updates, BOGO, Contests and More!
Many of you who know me personally know that this month has been insane. Josh has had a few medical issues arise that really kept me from doing a whole lot for my business other than post on facebook because that is what's easiest to do from my phone or tablet. Now that things are settling down I can give you an update on my health.
First off I have to say that eating at NAS Jax has little choices as far as healthy unless you can make it to the galley which I was not always able to do. So, greasy food it was. I have to say that it was a nice treat to eat it a little more often. I am glad I had my Plexus by my side because through all the stress of Josh being sick, I did not gain a single solid pound. My scale fluctuated a bit but always went back down within 24 hours of eating a little too much. I am walking away from these past few weeks down 2 more pounds. I have lost a total of 18 pounds while on Plexus, giving me an annual total since January 1 of 38 pounds! That is nuts. I have gone from a size 16 to a size 10 (or in shirt sizes a XL to a Medium). I honestly don't think I could live the life I live without the help of Plexus. Loosing weight and keeping it off was always hard for me. Even in 2008 when I lost a ton of weight, it took 5 days in the gym for almost 2 hours a day to maintain my size. The second I stopped working that hard and cut back on working out I gained it all back and quickly. I
On to some exciting news....A couple of weeks ago Plexus rolled out a new product. BLOCK! Block does just as it's name implys. It blocks up to 48% of your starch and sugar intake. I am on day two of block. Have I noticed a difference in anything? You bet! First off, without getting too too personal here, the week before Aunt Flo makes her monthly visit, I bloat really bad. My scale jumps big time (and I never take this as my weight because it drops off over night when Flo leaves). Water in take, Plexus, probio....none of it helped. It's just the nature of the beast for me. So as I am approaching my monthly visitor, this would be my OMG scale moment, and you know what? No bloat. I was on my scale today and no OMG scale moment. I'm wondering if the weight I am now is my bloating weight and when Flo leaves what kind of scale drop I will have. If that's the case, then Hell Yeah! Cause I can predict that within a week I'll drop 5 pounds over night.

Now to the good stuff, the free stuff and specials. Plexus is donating 5% of sales of any breast cancer screening kit to Breast Cancer research. Along with that the kits are also BOGO Free. So grab a "breast" friend and make each other accountable for doing a monthly self breast exam. This is the product that got Plexus started, it was featured on the Doctors, and could just save your breasts. I am also doing my own special through the end of October. I am looking to sponsor new ambassadors all the time. To get you started, I am willing to reimburse your annual $34.95 membership for your first year if you purchase a welcome kit. Not only will I do this, but I will also help you sell the contents of your welcome kit if you so choose making a nice profit. The welcome kits save you huge money on products. You can either use the product on yourself or sell it. There are many to choose from depending on your needs. Ask me how I can help you turn a quick profit. Also, if for some reason you want to sign up now but do not want to buy a welcome kit at the moment for whatever reason, you have up to 60 days to purchase one through customer service. If you go this route, I will still reimburse the $34.95! This offer ends Oct. 31st so hurry up and sign on.
That is all tonight. It was a long post and I appreciate everyone who reads this. Please remember to find me on facebook. I post on their daily with updates not just on me but my clients. So far my clients have lost combined over 50 pounds! I am proud of each and every one of you.
And one last thing......In December I will be rolling out a new contest to my clients, new and old ones. I will announce the contest December 15th to get everyone ready to begin their New Years Resolution! Keep your eyes out.

You might have a yeast overgrowth if...
Let’s get down to the nitty gritty of our health, our
gut. Something I learned in nursing
school (the short time I was in) was that our gut really dictates our health. What you put in your stomach is what makes
your body go and function. Everything
that can be processed is and what is not becomes waste. Some of the items we eat (fast food, alcohol,
sweets, dairy, breads, coffee, basically most processed foods or foods with
sugar, even natural sugars) that have sugar in them turn into yeast and that
yeast will sit in your body. Now I’m not
talking about yeast like your run of the mill annoying feminine yeast
infection. Guys you can get this yeast
over growth too. It doesn't discriminate
with age, sex, or race.
Here are some signs that you may have yeast over growth.

Want to do a test for yeast?
It’s a fairly simple test that was featured on Dr. Oz. Before going to bed, place a cup (clear is
best) of water next to your bed. When
you wake up, spit in it. Do this before
doing anything else. Wait 15
minutes. What your spit does will
determine if you have yeast. There is a spit graphic at the bottom of this flyer that will show you what you may be looking at.
So tonight, I challenge you to do your spit test. Report your results back to me. If you are positive for yeast, I can help you
combat your problems.

Body Cream Compliment
I am still getting into the routine of using Plexus Body Cream. This morning after my workout and shower, I came downstairs but forgot to put on my skin cream. I turned to Josh, who is always oblivious to looks in all honesty, and said oh crap I gotta run upstairs and put my skin cream on. He looked at me and said, didn't you already put make-up on. I don't wear make-up often so for him to say this would not be normal. He thought I was wearing make-up. The reddness I have always had in my face has toned downed some already and he actually thought I had some sort of make up on! Results in less than a week.
Here is my before pic. My pores are larger and my skin is botchy.
Not as close up because the close up one looks like I lost all color, but my pores are smaller and skin tone even. This was taken yesterday after 3 days of use.
Closer up so you can see the smaller pores and pimple clearing up.

My Pleximony, My Why
We all have a why. Why did you decide to go back to school? Why did you get married? Why did you have children? Or in my case, why did you have so many children? There are many "whys" in everyone's life. Recently I was asked, "Why Plexus. You have never liked MLM businesses," (that's multi-level marketing for those thinking "Huh?"). I decided to back Plexus and promote it because I love the product.
Looking at all I do, I found I was promoting products left and right and not making money off of it. For example, I bought a nice vacuum. I loved the vacuum. People come to my house and see that I can be a bit of a neat freak at times so I guess they think, hey if she likes this product, it must be good. Within a couple of months of me owning my vacuum, a couple of my friends who were in need of new vacuums decided to buy the same one I had. I promoted a vacuum, made money for that company, and none for myself. But when you love a product, you want to share that with the world. Strangers even think my opinion means something. While I was at the commissary, a lost sailor was looking at all the different brands of shredded cheese. He was trying to weigh out the price difference with quality. He was about to go for the wrong brand just because he thought off brand was the cheapest. I handed him Borden shredded cheese and said it costs the same and tastes so much better. He said, well you look like a profession at his so I'll trust your opinion. I just made money for Borden cheese promoting their product, but no money for myself. Just because I love the products. So here I am, promoting products I love because honestly this is what women do in the world. If we love something we share it. We share our experiences with it. We share how it tastes, how well it picks up dirt, or how soft it makes our hair feel (in the case of a hair care product).
I have watched my friend, Mandy, (someone who I have known for almost ten years) use Plexus products and have seen a remarkable change. She decided a year ago to become an Independent Ambassador for Plexus. I have seen her grow her business, leave her career, and change her health. I watched all these good things for the past year with no other thought than, wow she is doing so well for herself. I am so happy for her. I never thought her posts were annoying because I knew this was her life and I wanted to be apart of her life. Not to mention many of her posts were very informational. Looking back, I kick myself in the rear for being a bystander. I think what if I started when she started. Why did it take me a whole year to wake up and see Plexus is awesome?
Last year, after our move, I gained a ton of weight. The holidays were full of indulging day after day, I was not exercising, and I was exhausted all the time taking care of my children, my husband, and our new home. In January, I joined Weight Watchers and lost almost 30 pounds but then stopped loosing. I was going to nursing school at this time, but was still eating healthy. I watched my points closely, but as I lost my points went down. I was always hungry and 0 point foods were not doing it for me anymore. I left weight watchers because this was not the plan for me anymore. I also had to leave nursing school because my husband needed me at home more. If you read my bio or know me personally, you know he is a disabled veteran. With some free time on my hands, I told my hubby that I would be going to the gym three days a week. This would be my stress release. Despite working out and being careful with what I was eating, I started gaining weight again. I gained 10 pounds back and was not happy. I hadn't even hit my goal weight and here I was gaining weight again. I was beating myself up inside, getting depressed, and was ready to give up again. After being at this yo-yo game for almost two months, I saw one of Mandy's posts. Not even promoting Plexus. She was actually here in Florida visiting a friend for a couple of days and saw a picture of her in a bikini. Now I know Mandy had struggled with weight because her and I were on a weight loss facebook page together in 2013. When I saw her pic, I thought OMG! We have been on the weight loss fight at the same time. Here I am not even close to my goals, and here she is one hot mama! I saved up money and tried Plexus Slim and Plexus Boost. Within two weeks, I saw improvement in my weight and my measurements. The size 14/16 shorts that I bought at the beginning of May (which were getting tight on me because I had been putting weight back on again) were getting loose on me. My new jeans that I bought in March (that I was barely able to button because I was gaining) were fitting me again. I found a product that would work with my exercise routine and my diet (I try to eat healthy but I am flexible).
So what do I do when I love a product, I promote the heck out of it. I talked about how wonderful Plexus was and would refer people to Mandy's website. That's when she about hit me with a cast iron skillet (if it would reach all the way from the midwest). She asked me, what the heck are you doing. Girl these are your customers. She helped me get launch my Plexus business and here I am. I have not been an ambassador for very long. Only a few short weeks. But I have hit some of my goals already in this company. All I am doing is promoting a product I love. I promote it the same way I promoted my vacuum cleaner and the Borden shredded cheese. I talk about it, show people through Pleximonies (a plexus term for testimony) how well this stuff works, and help them purchase the products. I am doing what I would have done anyways, except I get to make money off of it when you purchase it.
Right now I am at a total of 11 pounds lost in five weeks. I have lost 2 1/2 inches off my waist, 2 1/2 inches around my thighs, an 1 around my upper arm, and 2 inches off my hips. I have also gone down a cup size in my bra. I have tons of energy. I am in my second month of Plexus products and decided to try Fast Relief products for my carpal tunnel syndrome in my wrist. Day one was a success and today I woke up to zero pain! I will still wear my brace so I can rest it, but I plan to take zero pain meds for it! I am my own testimony.
This summer was also a huge turn for my family. My husband decided to go back into therapy for his PTSD and my oldest was diagnosed with High Functioning Autism. We are now doing evaluations to determine what services he needs. If I had any hope of going back to work or school full time, it would have to be put on hold until we settle into new routines and see how many days a week my son will be in therapy after school. Not to mention the extra money out in co-pays for his therapies. We are looking at $200-$300 a month. With the VA also wanting to reduce my husband's VA disability rating, this could put a strain on our financial situation. So, extra money is a huge plus with the ability to work out of my home, on my own time around VA appointments and therapy appointments.
There you have it. This is my starting off story and my "Why?" My self and my family are my "why". They are most important. There is no way while I am sitting on my death bed will I ever say, God I wish I had more time in the office. I will wish I had more time with my husband, children, and their children (when that come comes). I know I have been able to be a stay at home mom for the majority of the last 10 years, but I am now able to continue to be a SAHM even with all the hurdles we face.
